Redtitanium Radar

Well, this is the first of the 'better' radars I have made using Photoshop CS3. I'm havent used photoshop much, so I'm still no 100% familiar with it yet. This one started out when I came up with the design while I was milking goats(!). Inspiration sources must have been mainly goats, but also my TMN name, redtitanium, which gave me the idea of making it red.

You can see that the edges is a bit sharp, that's because I haven't figured how to make them smother in photoshop without destroying it completly. Hopefully I'll do that before I release. As of the outer edges (between the radar and transparency) it can't get any smother. That's because the transparency type for solid CS radars is Alphatest, which is pretty much the same as used in *.gif files where you can't have any semi transparent pixels. However, things always smoothens up if you run in D3D or OpenGL, so after all there might not be a need for much smoothening.
