You asking here and around is exactly what I personally enjoy seeing. I am always up to help people out and I really appreciate you feeling comfortable enough to ask freely. I'll take a look at the files sometime today and give it a shot at. I'm sure there is something we can think of to make it work. ; )

Are you trying to animate the .vtf file itself, or animations through a .vmf proxy? I haven't messed around at all with eyeball textures, etc, but I do know from speaking with DeadPool / Emp Doom, that I believe there is no way to do team colored eyeball skins for characters. So the one glow anim would have to be one for each team.


1) yes, its an animated .vtf
2) i know i cant do team colourd. i was planning on using a single Left Red eye for both teams.
3) i was going to use it in my Terminator Ver.3 Skin.
4) i thought there might be a problem with the animation, because i thought the eyeball might allready be animated by Valve causing a conflict

i understand Kelrog that you spent alot of time on it, and im greatfull. i just thought id ask around. ( More heads better than 1 )

if anyone wants to take a look heres the files you will need feel free to edit them in any way, to try to get it to work.

Honestly i spend more than a few hours trying to get it to work. I dont' think its possible with out either changing how the model works, or the coding.
