THE COLD
The year is 2012, in a world where the fear and superstition between the east and west during the Cold War descended into violence. The brutal clash between the superpowers of Russia and The United States caused millions of death across the globe. You play as Vasili Grigorevich Vyshnevetsky, a Russian refugee being transported from the city to escape the horrors of the war. In the cold Siberian wastes, a mysterious explosion grounds your helicopter. As the only survivor of the crash, you stumble through the darkness and discover a recently excavated mining facility, and a building encased in the snow.
The Truth of the matter is that the recent excavation of the snowy ruins uncovered the abandoned bunker of the “Icaris Corporation”, a genetic research and development organisation created to produce “Bioweapons” for the Soviet forces. The subjects and experiments that were created in the bunker were placed in stasis once the facility was abandoned.
Entering the bunker in search of help from the miner’s, you realise the truth… You are not alone. |
