Skins > Z3RO's 590 Mossberg
Animation: Can't complain about the animations, you included several choices so there's something to fit every taste.
Model: Quite good and high-poly, somewhat inaccurate in some parts (safety, sights)
Texture: The diffuse looks good if not a little blurry, the normals however let it down. You should only normalize the details and not all your base texture with it because it makes it look extra bad when phong hits it D:

On that matter the phong is also too strong.

Skins > Twinke Mastas Colt .45 -upd2-
It's a very good replacement across the board. Twinke did a godlike job on both the model and texture, both are executed in a near-flawless manner with great detail and accuracy. It's 2½ years old but time hasn't diminished its quality in any way, which can't be said for all releases. Of course, pretty much anything that has Twinke's name on it is bound to be jaw-droppingly awesome :P

The sounds pack a nice punch and complement the gun very well. The compile is probably the weakest link but it's by no means bad; there's some clipping but that may partially be due to the difference of shape as compared to the default Beretta. The sights also look a bit off but you said you'll fix them so I won't deduct many points just for the sake of doing so.

Skins > Tactical 1911
Animation: Antipirate's animations are one of the best Deagle animations around, the only thing that really bugs me is the draw - it looks unnatural and the slide is pulled back with such ease it makes the slide look broken D:
Model: Tonedef did a pretty good job at this model, it's quite accurate and well done, if not a little low-poly here and there considering its age
Texture: Unfortunately Tub's texture is the weakest link in this submission; it's one of his oldest textures and it really shows. He used a base texture which looks highly unnatural and is way too prominent. The texture also relies heavily on said base, which makes the whole thing look a bit too uniform and dull. The lighting is a bit unrealistic in some places, mainly the slide. The damage and detailing could've also been done more realistically.

Overall it's not a terrible replacement but there are better 1911s out there.

Pros: Great texture of high resolution that is done by Millenia. This texture is realistic because it express that the color of the gun is fading due to a very long time of exploitation and abuse.
This skin is also high in polygon compare to other skins that is expressing the small guns. In this model, many minor details are express using polygons.
This skin is a good replication of the Mac10 replacement for CS:S. Allowing users that don't have CS:S to enjoy a taste of it. The compile shows creativity because of having Mac10 replacement in CS:S to replace Mac10 in CSCZ, the compiler allow it to be for MP5.
Cons: The imperfection this skin is that it lacks the player view. Giving a set back for realism, expressing that the dying character is dropping what they are not using.
From the Half life model viewer, when the observer put the model to smooth shading, they will realize that the view model is having as extremely bad compile.
The animation is not that realistic as the finger and the trigger is not pulled during the firing animation of the view model.
Improvements: Compile the view model properly, make sure that it looks good in the smooth shaded render mode.
Add a player view to the skin.
Notes: A potential skin to be Godlike with many major setback.


High resolution texture? Hahaha, it's on 2 512x512s and looks blurry as hell, just because it has my name on it doesn't mean it's good :/

Skins > Kitten Bread
Honestly, it's not very good. It's a new idea but the execution isn't flawless. the model's really low poly, inaccurate and has smoothing errors. The texture's also horribly bland and doesn't have any detail. The face looks painted on rather than toasted on which isn't a very good thing either tbh. You should've tried to add a bit of detail to the texture like in that render of yours (btw, change that render to represent the actual model or else I'll be forced to withhold your submission for having a misleading render).

Skins > Glock for USP V2
Animation: Animations are good, no complaints here.
Model: Bullethead's model is pretty good, although it's kinda old and that shows in some places. It's a bit inaccurate and way too thin, and some places could use more polygons.
Texture: The textures are decent, although both are really old as well. Both suffer from some blandness and inconsistencies with the lighting and Kimono's texture is really oversharpened and the base on his is too contrasty. Also the grunge is overdone in some places.

Skins > VSS
Animation: Animations look pretty good if not a little robotic, especially in the shoot. I quite dig the style of the animations anyways.
Functionality: Everything seems to work well with the exception of the smoothing on the model, it's messed up. The lighting normals are wrong so the light source isn't consistent with other models and you've got a few unwelded verts. Not a bad port anyways, it isn't that apparent with textures.
Originality: Pretty original, Vintorezs are quite rare (although the only VSSs that are around are the same one so that deducts a couple of points). Good job porting the animations, gives it a personal touch.
Texture: While I dig the default STALKER textures, I think this is a little bit too dark and bland. The excessive blackness makes it look a bit monotonous as well. The biggest problem is downsizing; you should've chopped the map to maintain an almost-original resolution.

Detail: Detail isn't improved at all, really. All you did was add skulls all over the place and the defaults aren't particularly packed with fine detail as some custom content tends to be
Originality: I guess it's pretty original, I haven't seen a pack like this yet.
Texture: Pretty much the same as detail; the fact you so heavily relied on default content is quite restricting and it would've been better had you retextured the models while you were at it. On top of that you made some parts REALLY blurry for some reason :/
The thing that bugs me the most is that the white parts look really lacking in detail, you should've added more details and stronger shading there to get a better end result. Nice try anyways.
