You can still do a lot-if not all- the things you would normally do on graphic design on a Windows. I do all my graphics on a Windows and its the same thing as in a Mac. Over all they both suck and if PS worked for Ubuntu or if GIMP didn't suck with my Wacom Tablet and had support for layer effects I would of switched a looong time ago.
