I agree. Blizzard over complicated this game, its not nearly as straight forward as Starcraft, or previous Warcraft games. I never liked the inventory, hero levels, and the other crap they added.

They had a winning formula with Starcraft, You would think that they'd stick with that given the success of Starcraft..."

I beg to disagree, once you get the hang of Warcraft its as simple as Starcraft, anyways MOST players don't do the campaign just the Battle.net function.
