Flank them to the left and hope for the best and bring a fuckload of ammo and nades and most of all BANDAGES AND MEDKITS, i took around 14 nades with me and when i was done i had 2 left and had shot about 1500 shots all in all (no i didn't miss all the time)

Run forward a bit until they start shooting, then somewhere on your left, there should be a tree fallen over resting on a rock, go under that and keep running to the left until Sidorovich calls you.

Go around the side and duck behind a tree or something.
I've never played Clear Sky but people talk about this part all the time.
